Need an author to talk to your class, book group, library patrons, or for any other occasion? I can talk about my books, writing in general, the publication process, science fiction/fantasy, or working with the programs Inform7 or Twine to create interactive fiction. I’m still working out exactly what to offer – if you’ve got something specific in mind that isn’t reflected here, drop me an inquiry through the contacts page and I’ll see what I can work out!
Virtual visit – These are $100 for up to an hour visit (I won’t be fussy if it goes a little over!) The cost is waived for anyone buying 10 or more copies of any of my books, plus I’ll send along some signed bookplates for you to put in them!
In-person visit – I’m based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For those within a 2-hour drive of the city, the rate is $500 for a full school day of presentations, Lunch with the Author, or whatever works for your needs. Outside of this, the rate is $1000/day plus travel expenses as necessary. Multiple schools/organizations in the same area can collaborate and I’ll go around to all of them! All in-person visits include books signed for no extra charge.
